Landscaping SOLD!

The Seller purchased this business from Del Lingco in 1984.  He now wants to retire after over 34 years.  This business is 99% commercial.  However, approximately 80% of sales is from Developers and Home Builders.  Approximately 50% of the business is irrigation (sprinklers).  Most work is construction related.  Very little maintenance (10%) for example, a developer will contract with this company to install the grass, trees, color (flowers) and sprinklers, the job may last from 9 months to 1 year.  No sales people and no advertising.  All work comes to this company from repeat customers or referrals.  The Buyer will get all the assets free and clear including the 6 or 7 trucks & trailers.  Currently, the Seller leases the trucks & trailers from his wife at over $47k per year.  This liability will be paid off at closing.  The Seller states the actual expense is around $25k per year.  No adjustment is done because it is not verified.  There are 2 separate entities (corporations) operating as one DBA.  The Buyer will buy the assets of both entities.
